Joe IrelandJoseph H. Ireland is the President of Riley James Development Corporation, which was formed to sponsor multi-well drilling programs for investor participation through its affiliate and registered securities broker-dealer – Lone Star Securities, Inc. Mr. Ireland founded Lone Star Securities in 1987 and remains the President and Chief Financial Officer. In addition, he serves as the Managing Member of Harbor Resources, LLC, which was formed to sponsor drilling programs prior to the formation of Riley James.

With nearly thirty years of experience in the oil and gas industry, Mr. Ireland has extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of the business from funding the drilling programs to acquiring the oil and gas leases to completing and operating the actual oil and gas wells. He started out in 1980 as an independent petroleum landman for Jones and Lyons Oil Properties of San Angelo, Texas where he was responsible for purchasing oil and gas leases for major independent oil companies in Arkansas and Texas. Four years later, Mr. Ireland became vice president of J&R Petroleum, Inc. of Abilene, Texas where he assisted in the organization and structure of its drilling programs and managed investor relations as well as daily operations. By 1985, Mr. Ireland formed Sands Petroleum, Inc. to sponsor drilling programs for participation by investors similar to Riley James and Harbor Resources today.

Prior to entering the oil and gas industry, Mr. Ireland entered the real estate industry in 1970 where he worked for ten years as a licensed real estate agent and eventually owned his own real estate company – Joe Ireland Realtors, Inc. Mr. Ireland attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas and majored in business administration.



Robert JonesRobert Jones, Attorney at Law, is the Vice President of Riley James Development Corporation as well as Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer of Riley James' affiliate Lone Star Securities, Inc. Mr. Jones has over nine years of experience in the securities industry and obtained a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Texas in 1994. He went on to obtain his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law in 1998 and holds both General Securities Principal (Series 24) and General Securities Representative (Series 7) licenses.



Robin RoachRobin Roach, Executive Director of Marketing, has over 13 years of experience in both corporate and marketing communications, specializing in the implementation of strategic elements of branding across the areas of online marketing, web content, advertising, sales collateral / promotions, direct marketing, packaging, graphic design, and trade shows / events. Formerly with AT&T, Quest Software, Sterling Commerce, and Sterling Software, she holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Texas A&M University.



Photo of Renee MichaelasRenee Michaelis is the Accounting Manager for Riley James Development Corporation. She attended Collin County Community College where she studied Accounting. Prior to joining the company in August 2004, Ms. Michaelis worked as Assistant Controller for oil and gas firms in Richardson and Los Colinas, Texas. Ms. Michaelis has extensive knowledge of Joint Interest Billing, Divisions of Interest, oil and gas revenue distribution, investor investments, bank reconciliation, escrow accounting, accounts payable and receivable, cost accounting, and quarterly reporting.



Photo of Brenda GardnerBrenda Gardner is the Office Administrator for Riley James Development Corporation. Ms. Gardner attended El Centro College in Dallas, Texas where she studied Police Science. She joined the company in July of 2002. Ms. Gardner is responsible for supporting the registered representatives, managing the mailings to potential and existing investors, checking the accuracy of the investors' qualifying information prior to the mailing, logging and tracking the information mailed, and managing administrative functions of the office. Ms. Gardner is also responsible for receiving and directing incoming calls from investors.



Photo of Brenda GardnerJanelle Barnes is the Receptionist for Riley James Development Corporation. Ms. Barnes has three years of experience in the retail and service industries. She graduated from The Art Institute of Dallas with honors with an associate's degree in applied science, culinary arts after attending Texas Tech University for two years. Prior to joining Riley James, Ms. Barnes earned numerous certifications in the food service industry and achieved technical proficiency in a number of applications that serve her well in the many capacities she serves at Riley James.
